The inspiration to build a professional, customer-focused junk removal service came to 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Founder and CEO Brian Scudamore in 1989 while he waited in line at a McDonald’s drive-through. Training and Support
The training and support at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? begins the moment you become a Franchise Partner. We will walk you through our 8 week start-up process which includes 3 days of training at our head office. We will teach you the technical side of our business as well as give the knowledge to run a successful business. Once you have completed our start-up process, you will then be assigned to work with one of our Field Advisors who coaches you throughout the life of your franchise. This coach will provide weekly coaching calls as well as visiting you at least once a year in your market.

Franchise Requirements
We are looking for motivated individuals that aren’t afraid to get out in the community and share the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? message. Our best Franchise Partners are not afraid to introduce the service to contractors, realtors, and property managers. Therefore, having sales experience (or aptitude) can be a great asset. In addition to generating new business, you will also need to manage your truck teams, so leadership skills are a must. Finally, we need to see a F/T commitment. Again, to set you up to win.
Location Requirements
We typically advise our Franchise Partners to begin building their business out of their homes. This helps to alleviate unnecessary expenses that can be avoided. As long as you have a place to work on a computer and make important phone calls, the majority of your time should be spent out in your community.
