As everyone is aware, the recent outbreak of COVID-19 has caused changes in our social behavior, our economy, and our perceptions. This means limited personal interactions, a slower economy, and a great deal of hardship. So what can your business be doing in these uncertain times? Here are some ideas.
Virtual Meetings
Connect With Your Clients
Now is a great time to connect with your email list, including past and future clients, Let them know any precautions you are taking, if you open, and update them on the local situation. You may also want to let them know about programs being offered via the SBA or other government agencies that may provide them some benefit.
Get On Social Media
With many people stuck at home, social media is the place to be. Post, share, and comment to get exposure. Use a service such as HootSuite.com to manage multiple platforms.
Re-evaluate
If your business is experiencing a slow down as many are, take the opportunity to evaluate your marketing efforts. Look back at past successes and failures and determine which marketing avenues have provided the biggest "bang for your buck". Digging through the data may provide some valuable insight into future marketing decisions.
