Pop-A-lock was named by Entrepreneur magazine one the Top 500 franchises to buy since 2007.
They have also been ranked as one of the top 100 fastest growing franchises, and the Top 50 home-based franchises, making the Pop-A-Lock franchise a great opportunity for any would be entrepreneur.
Safety
For the franchisee, franchising is about risk reduction and safety. You give up the total freedom associated with being an “independent owner” to become part of a group of people committed to building a brand and dominating markets using a common, tested operating system as Pop-A-Lock does. You don’t have to guess about the most effective way to build your business, there is a specific system to use.
Proven Systems
Pop-A-Lock provides a proven method of doing business (the operating system), a brand or trademark that will have value in the eyes of the customer based on execution of the operating system, and initial and ongoing support so you won’t have to reinvent the wheel to be successful.
You provide capital to expand the brand faster than the franchisor can by itself and management talent to run the business and execute the operating system.
Predictable Results
A franchise system should also provide group buying power to cut your operating expenses, faster growth due to tested marketing programs, predictable results based on your adherence to the operating system and less risk of your invested capital as Pop-A-Lock does.
Target Clientele
We are looking for qualified franchisees for large and middle sized exclusive territories, worldwide. Virtually none of our franchisees had any previous “industry specific” experience.
Corporate Training and Support
Your introduction to the Pop-A-Lock® Franchise System begins with the Pop-A-Lock® Franchisee Training Program. New Franchisee training is conducted at our corporate offices in Lafayette, Louisiana.
The Pop-A-Lock® Franchisee Training Program introduces you to the various facets of operating one of our franchises, including:
- Operations;
- Standards;
- Human resources;
- Administration;
- Accounting; and
- Advertising and marketing.
Technical Training for Your Staff
This training shows you/your staff how to use Pop-A-Lock’s proprietary equipment and techniques to open vehicles.
Support from Franchise Compliance Specialists
Our franchise compliance specialists will periodically contact or visit your franchise location to perform a field inspection and to meet with you. They will solicit your input and feedback, try to assist you with any operational problems you may be facing, and share best practices throughout the franchise system.
Research and Development
We regularly post updated vehicle information and diagrams for our Confidential Opening Manual to a secure website where you will be able to download and print the updates. You and your technicians will also be able to contact a research and development specialist 24 hours a day, seven days a week in the event you need technical assistance to open a vehicle in the field.
By providing you with comprehensive training and support, Pop-A-Lock continues to be the leader in locksmithing and helps to ensure that your new franchise business will have the best possible chance for success.
Marketing and Advertising
At Pop-A-Lock we have been developing and refining our marketing and advertising tools and strategies for more than 15 years – and we look forward to sharing our experience and expertise with each of our franchisees.
We have established the Pop-A-Lock Advertising Fund in order to pool the advertising fee payments from all of our franchisees. This fund is used to further brand recognition and business development for the franchise system as whole – which in turn benefits each of our franchisees.
As a franchisee, our Advertising & Marketing department will be available to you, offering advice, guidance and resources for your advertising and marketing needs. Also available to you at no charge will be our Yellow Pages advertising consultant, who provides expert advice on Yellow Page directories and advertisements based on over 40 years of experience in the industry.
Nationwide, Pop-A-Lock has already rescued hundreds of thousands of children, and routinely saves hundreds of kids every day, 365 days a year. This program will make a valuable contribution to the communities that you serve – and is also a memorable way to distinguish your business from the competition. In addition, it helps you and Pop-A-Lock as a whole to build strong relationships with police, fire and other emergency services.
